BHMI proposed a comprehensive software solution to seamlessly handle all incoming and outgoing shipping message formats. Furthermore, BHMI offered a solution that would make detailed tracking information available to all parties who were involved in the shipping process – beginning at the automobile manufacturer and ending at the trucking contractor who delivered vehicles to a dealership.

Since there were going to be many different groups using this application, BHMI created a password-secure web-based interface. This allows easy browser access to the application for all user groups.

This application currently tracks millions of vehicle shipments per year, and it has dramatically enhanced the level of information available to UPRR and its customers.
