BHMI creates applications based on a variety of methodologies – ranging from a rigorous waterfall approach that ensures all project factors are fully identified upfront to quick-moving agile approaches that result in the evolutionary creation of fully-functioning software in short release cycles.

However, with either type of methodology, BHMI encourages the creation of a detailed external specification that characterizes the deliverables to be produced as an end product of development – for a waterfall oriented approach, this document will define the deliverables for the entire project, for an agile approach, this document will define the deliverables for a single iteration. In either case, after the document has been approved as a development roadmap, BHMI is prepared to provide a binding estimate for cost and elapsed time for completing deliverables. After making this pricing commitment to a client, BHMI will not increase the amount even if the original estimate is exceeded. BHMI – not the client – assumes the obligation to produce deliverables for the estimated cost.
