Founders
As the co-founders and owners of BHMI, we hope you don't mind if we brag a little about our talented team and loyal customers. The demand for our services has been consistently growing each year that we are in business. We believe this is because we have built a solid reputation across the country for successfully designing, developing and implementing primary software solutions.
Sometimes we reminisce about how our company has evolved to meet the needs of our customers. When we founded the company in 1986, we primarily focused on the development of software for large, high performance transaction processing systems. Through the early 90's, most of the software we developed was targeted toward the Tandem (now HP NonStop) fault-tolerant computer platforms. This association was natural since Tandem systems were specifically engineered for this type of environment. As we have grown and built long-term, strategic relationships with our customers, we have watched our customers' technology environments become increasingly complex. For example, most of our customers require applications for multiple and disparate platforms. As a result, we have evolved our development environment so that we can design and implement applications that support multiple, disparate computer systems – in many cases, the same software has to run on different types of platforms. This includes not only NonStop, but also Wintel and UNIX platforms. Most people are impressed with our solid reputation and technical capabilities, but they often ask us what really makes BHMI different than other software solutions providers. At the very beginning, we decided to invest heavily in our centralized Corporate Development Center. We have all the equipment and technologies necessary to complete mainline software development within this facility. Furthermore, our entire development staff is centrally located at this center, and they work together as an integrated team. This strategy has allowed BHMI to complete projects quickly, reliably and trouble-free. We are very proud of the software solutions BHMI has built for our customers and the reputation we have made in the marketplace. We are looking forward to continued success because we plan to remain focused on the needs of our clients or the quality of our work. About the founders

He was on the faculty at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In addition, he was also Director of Computer Science at Creighton University for several years. He has been involved in corporate software management and has operated as an independent consultant, primarily in the area of computer systems performance modeling. Jack has a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. Jack's areas of expertise include analysis and design of telecommunications systems, computer performance modeling, design and development of software for fault-tolerant distributed systems, data compression techniques for data communications, and artificial intelligence.
Lynne J. Baldwin, Ph.D.President Lynne Baldwin is a co-founder of BHMI. Before starting the company, she was Vice President of Research and Engineering at a large financial software firm. She was previously a member of the computer science faculty at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Lynne received a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. She currently serves on the Computer Advisory Board of Bellevue University and on the Information Science & Technology Advisory Committee for the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In 1996, she was named Nebraska Technology Chief of the Year by the Applied Information Management Institute (AIM). Lynne's background includes systems engineering of large distributed networks, database design, and system performance and sizing. She has experience in the development of various application systems such as electronic funds transfer switches, encryption and decryption for online security systems, telephone information and call center systems.
Michael E. MeeksSenior Vice President of Software Development Senior Vice President of Software Development for BHMI, Mike Meeks is responsible for strategic technical development directions, software development standards, and software management procedures and tools for BHMI's cross platform development environment.
